Ivan Šuković

Ivan Šuković (1981) comes from Podgorica, Montenegro. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD at the Department of Multimedia Arts, of the University of Arts in Belgrade. He has an undergraduate degree in literature and a postgraduate degree in digital arts. Ivan has showed his work in various solo and group exhibitions, both locally and internationally. Member of the Association of the Visual Artists of Montenegro. His work reveals interest in the social reconstruction of childhood and post – memory, while stressing the importance of biographical and the theme of dialogue and communication within family. Accordingly, family albums and archival materials are used as an authentic source to re(construct) time and space in which we find ourselves, and therefore past and present relations.
