Through my art, I analyze the meaning and process of recollection in an attempt to re-create intimacy with something distant or lost in time and absent from material space. I use archival material as a potential source for possible identifications of multilayered temporal and spatial relations, i.e. discovery of their multiple potential and inconsistent meanings. The importance of archival material in my work provokes speculation about the role of memory as a creative process that includes different ways of interpreting the temporality of the image.
