For a Long-Lasting Memories / installation / laser engraved glasses, 2019

By transposing a linear drawing of a landscape and engraving it on glass, I wanted to create an illusion of a hovering picture eluding a precise analysis. This part of the project is some kind of an homage to fragile trips which metaphorically represent moments etched in my memory. Glass has the tendency to break. In my case, engraving landscapes means engraving unforgettable memories that are always on the verge of breaking. They remain perfectly intact. However, when the perfection is shattered to pieces, it cuts to the core.
